Margie Parikh

MBA, CFP

Margie is an independent consultant working with Dixon Davis & Company. She shifted to personal financial planning, after a decade marketing for the high-tech industry, pursuing her love of finance and desire to make it more accessible.

Margie spends much of her time in the community, sharing her experience in marketing, finance, and governance. She is a current director of Camosun College, Oikocredit Canada, and BC’s energy regulator, and past chair of MEC and CISV International. She volunteers with FP Canada, the professional association, and the regulatory body for financial planners. And for the past several years she has also been active in sponsoring refugees to Canada via the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria.

This caring attitude is evident in Margie's financial advice. She focusses on listening and understanding clients' circumstances and then applies her broad range of expertise to offer professional, realistic, and supportive recommendations. She strives to educate and empower clients, young and old, to make sound, personally-appropriate, financial decisions.

When she is done doing all that Margie loves to hike, garden, and - no explanation required - savour dark chocolate.
