After training to be a physicist, Howard focused his attention on fee-only financial planning in 1988 when he started his first financial planning firm. From his time as Headmaster of Queen Margaret's School in Duncan, his passion to educate was evident in the way he approaches financial planning. As a member of The Institute of Advanced Financial Planners Howard starts with the basics and then adds his wealth of knowledge and strategy to help people from all walks of life. Although he says he is retired, he can’t resist the chance to provide financial planning for a select few individuals with interesting cases.

Howard stays close to his roots of growing up in England and is an active participant in all things British, including rugby, cricket, golf, and admits to a lifelong love affair with vintage cars and old houses.
