After helping companies accomplish their business goals, Kam wanted to work with people on a more personal level and that’s when she started her financial planning career in 2004. She believes in the importance of planning and keeping a view of the long-term while enjoying the moments along the way. She works with employees, entrepreneurs, executives and business owners to reach financial success in their personal and business lives. She is known for taking the time to patiently answer questions and ensure clients are able to make informed decisions about their options.
Kam has worked with small and large sized businesses in developing and executing strategic marketing and business plans within North America and overseas. She has been part of teams involved in developing award winning proposals for some top businesses in North America and international aid agencies. Her background includes personally managing budgets from $25,000 - $2,000,000 for both small and large companies and investment assets under management of up to $45million. She spent time in Central America working with indigenous people groups to develop and market their small businesses locally and into the surrounding countries.
She enjoys traveling, biking, golfing, tae kwon do, sports, and the theatre. She is continually learning and if life isn’t challenging enough has most recently started training dogs personally and as a volunteer with a training service dogs.
